And this day
shall be unto you for a memorial; and you shall keep it a feast to the
Lord throughout your generations; you shall keep it a feast by an ordinance
for ever. ~Exodus 12:14
Passover begins on the 14th day of Jewish month Nisan. It consists of three feasts:
The Passover Meal, The Lord's Passover, which is celebrated on the fourteenth day of the first month at twilight. (Leviticus 23:5).
The Feast of Unleavened Bread (Matzah), which is begins on the fifteenth day of the first month. It lasts for seven days, from the 15th-21st day of Nisan. (Leviticus 23:6-8)
The Offering of the First Fruit (Offerings for the Spring Barley Harvest) is honored the day after the Sabbath. (Leviticus 23:9-14).
Purge out therefore the old leaven, that you may be a new lump, as you are unleavened. For even Christ our passover is sacrificed for us: ~1 Corinthians 5:7
