Reindeer live in the northern areas of North America, Asia, and Europe. They are also called caribou, except in North America where the term "reindeer" is used only for domesticated deer. The reindeer is an integral part of various cultures in their northern native climates. They are used for milk, food, clothing and material, and transportation.
